Joined a server the other day and grabbed a sniper kit (forgive me please, it was Wanda Shan, what else was I going to do lol).

Anyway I spotted an enemy crewman about 400m away. So I fired, wounded him (I'm an awful shot) he ran and got into an empty APC behind him and bugged out. He must have bled out and died because I got a kill. Which I was awarded 2047 points for. This isn't in any way a brag post.



I just don't think it can possibly be correct. Thought it was worth posting up.

Never seen that before. Probably was from something else.

If you look the guy under him in second place is 1500 points below and is a SL who prolly built a FOB so I dont think this is it.Beside that it wouldnt matter as the SL allways gets the most points for building a FOB closly followed by the guys who dug it...He is a sniper he

1:wouldnt be close to his SL to get many points.
2:wouldnt be digging it.
3:Wouldnt be 1500 points above his whole team
4:he is a sniper
Im 99% sure this is a bug maybe try to do it agian with a mate?

May well get deleted as its an exploit I guess.

Some peaple will care enough about points to try this good luck to them as points in pr are srs bsns and cash prizes are invovled

An exploit is when you gain an unfair advantage over your enemy. Getting more points than you should is totally irrelevant and useless in every way, so who cares.

It's the distance, yes. And maybe the fact that he was a crewman - I think taking out a heavy asset with a light asset gets you more points as well. Perhaps the game thought "zomg, you just killed a tank driver with a sniper rifle!"

Thanks LeDudd, that makes sense. Pretty funny really. Maybe they could find a way to remove that lol.
