I think he means that unarmed kit = insurgent kit bag on the ground.

I've seen it too. US guys on Korengal click "drop kit" spawns an unarmed kit with Insurgent kit geos. Only saw it once though, unsure if it happens all the time or not.

This glitch is confined to certain kits from what I've seen, had it happen to the US AR on Kokan and to the IDF M4 Marksman on Beirut but not with any form of officer kits.
Its weird, but its good that an unarmed kit is given a visual representation.
