You'll find alot more help in this section here.

The most important thing would be to list your PC specs and what settings you are running PR at.

When does this occur?
Does it only occur on certain maps?
Have you tried disabling certain services running in the background to see if they might be effecting it?

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

It is possible that your system is locking up.
This can be due to hardware failure (usually caused by overheating).
Or corrupted system files or drivers.

If it freezes again, try to alt-tab or ctrl-alt-del into windows. If that does not work and reboot is the only option it is a solid system lock up.
Check your "Event Viewer" for "Critical" or "Error" level messages (esp. in "System").
Check your temperatures (if you feel up for it, clean your pc, free it from dust to allow better cooling again).
If you have a backup you might want to consider restoring.
