At least spell the thread title correctly. Explain your problem and don't just say "my PC hates me" so we can help you gain interest again. Post your specs too.

The specs is why it hates me. A one core 2.8 processor 3 gigs ram Geforce 7300GT and win 7 on it. I dont have the money to upgrade so i am just going to wait till later when i have like 1500 to upgrade

if you downgraded to windows XP that may help. Really, Win 7 is not meant for such an old computer.

1500? I upgraded with 300 dollar and I bought everything but the case and Videocard which came onboard with the mainboard (ati 3200HD). If I were to invest 200 moar for a decent videocard I would have a rig that eats up PR and runs PR Arma nicely.

Sorry dude, but I used to play on a 1.6 GHz Pentium D single core, 2 GB ram, and an ATI X300. Turn everything to low or off and you'll be fine, I promise. On the maps that run like a slideshow, run logistics or drive (don't gun) an APC. It's not a big deal. And lose Win7, it's killing you.

I wouldn't give up on PR totally so soon as we are working on optimizing the mod. I'm working on something at the moment which may drastically increase performance just on its own but by how much excatly is yet unknown and to fully implement this new technique will take some time but there is hope yet

I suppose we couldn't get a hint of what that "something" is Rhino?

keep windows 7 somewhere though. newer games will not be made for xp and it would become worthless

I predict it will be some time yet before many Games/Programs become incompatible with XP, just think how long it took for anything to become with windows 2k, and still most things today will work on win2k.gr770 wrote:newer games will not be made for xp and it would become worthless

win7 has compatibility mode for Win Xp SP3.... So there shouldnt any problem to run a XP game program on win7...

@OP: Dude you got 2 times better rig than mine yet you seem to be ditching PR because you, for some odd reason IMO, think its unplayable with a machine like that.

I think your problem is that you need to turn your GFX down. That rig seems perfectly fine for PR on a lower GFX setting, yes it is **** running it on low graphics, but whats better no PR or PR on low, eh?xtremeqban wrote:The specs is why it hates me. Yeah... I have issue with PR too... My country have the economic crisis and I don't have even 50 $ for upgrade PC... I hope Rhino, you will succeed.

My computer is a living example how Windows XP, 1gig RAM and 256 Ati radeon x1550 are enough to run PR. Still
