Description:
As SL, I was using the mortars and had gotten off to set a (attack) marker. While I was off, an SM got on it. He was regular rifleman. He, getting off the mortar, allowed me to use it again. When I got back on it, the chevron (or caret) was no longer pointed towards the (attack) marker but seemed to be directing me (I was facing the direction of the marker I had placed just earlier) to either behind or below my standing position. Placing another marker did not solve the problem until I placed it at a different heading from the original. Once the chevron pointed to the marker correctly, I was able to put the marker back on the target and everything was back to normal.
While I had been sorting this out, the same SM (I only had one anyway) had gotten back on it behind my back. He then got off again and I took his place. In neither situation had he fired or changed the orientation of the mortar. Once again, the bug was back and I had to set the marker again to a different heading before the chevron pointed to the right direction.
This bug kicks in when you enter the mortar. When you get off, the bug persists until you change the heading of the marker.
All above references to markers are in regards to the move/attack/etc. markers, not CAS/infantry/etc.
No screen shots. The only observable difference is that the chevron is not aligned with the marker.

doop can you explain this part in a little more detail?doop-de-doo wrote:When I got back on it, the chevron (or caret) was no longer pointed towards the (attack) marker but seemed to be directing me (I was facing the direction of the marker I had placed just earlier) to either behind or below my standing position. Not sure what you mean by "to either behind or below my starting position" and "until I placed it at a different heading from the original".
Both could mean a number of different things...
