So this has been bugging me for quite some time, gotta get it off my chest, and whatever the devs do with it is their own deal.
So I understand that your aim is not 100% exact if you have moved in the last few seconds or whatever it is... totally fine with this. Makes sense and keeps this game from becoming some **** FPS like so many others.
So the problem here is that it was implemented incorrectly. Yes your aim should deviate due to you moving. Then please for the love of god make an animation which actually portrays this instead of the sights being right on the money and me hitting 5 feet to the left of my target. If my crosshairs are on the target it should hit.
Im not sure what projects you guys have on the table, but if your not too busy then please work something out for this. Kinda ruins the realism of the game to the point of throwing your mouse against the wall. And comsidering this is a mod called "project reality" it kinda falls short on the realism aspect. Not to say you people havent done an excellent job thus far, but I dont see how this could have been overlooked. Too hard to implement perhaps?

This topic is as old as time itself.
If it were possible, it would have been done a long long long long time ago. Try searching the Suggestion forums for an abundance of literature on the subject. Many ideas and inquiries into adapting what you are describing into the engine have been put forth, argued about, and ultimately shot down with engine limitations.
The current deviation system is the best practical solution with the BF2 engine.

Trust me, we would have done that if we could. We can't, so we have to make due with this system.
