Kokan is awesome, one of my favorites from all PR maps, not just from the new ones.

Wanda Shan i dislike as much as yamalia (the 2 worse maps imo).

Burning sands is nice.

havent played Iron Eagle on a full server.

Kokan is the best because it's based on Mid-East and US vs. unconventional. More maps like that please.

Wanda Shan i think its a good combination of Armour and Infantary when you get close to teh flags there are some very intense inf fire fights with APCs backing you up.

I love Iron Eagle. The terrain and windy roads make it feel like a much bigger and much more immersive map.

My opinion on Kokan is... well I don't like it. Some of the Cache locations are put into huge bottlenecks. That and you can easily drive a bomb car into the J13 FOB and kill all the assets in there, or you can sit outside with an SPG or RPG and just pummel anything in there. I guess it wouldn't be much of a problem if you couldn't enter it so easily as Insurgents (DOD doesn't deter bombcars), and if it wasn't like 200m from the INS main. It'd be nice if more of the map was opened up and if there was maybe some areas in the mountains that we could use. One more thing about Kokan that I hate.. Caches spawning like 150-250m from the US main. All it does is turn into a camp-fest for the insurgents.

Have to agree with all of it. Played it a lot in recent few days and it's just hmmm... not good. :)

Kokan for sure, I didn't get burning sands to load with out issues, but having played the earlier beta event for it I must say it's no where near the quality of Kokan.

Overall I like the new concepts the latest batch of maps brought, although I like that all of the new maps bring their own special qualities to the game.

I love how Burning sands feels like a fight across Kashan Desert into the city of Ejod, with a fight ending in a giant quinling style airfield/bunker complex. The map has something for every type of player, it's great.

Kokan is amazing as well, the amount of support blufor can slam onto a position with CAS and Mortars really helps to counter the killing zones insurgents can create with the fields and roads.

I have yet to play Iron Eagle, and I am not a fan of Wanda Shan, since I think it's very punishing to infantry with not much for us to do other than get ferried around and sit on points while CAS and Armor guys fight around us, then the winner annihilates the losers infantry with thermal :(

Your saying Kokan is the same size as Kashan or Quiling or even Muttrah? You sure your talking about the same Kokan?

Technically, Kokan is the same size as Muttrah. However, a lot of the map on Kokan is not in play, which is a shame, as it can get a bit spammy at times.

Burning Sands for the win. Though I liked it much better when it was set to replace kashan as the desert jet map.

Kokan's got serious teething issues to work through before it's enjoyable for me.
Players might be hardcoded, but that sure doesn't seem to stop anybody from trying.

The only winning move is not to play. Insurgency, that is.
