Russian Weaponry Update!

I wrote really much, but then the site logged me out and now I?m forced to start again....

I believe that these Russian kits need updating!

- Rifleman: change the scope to Arma 2's, its not "their" scope, just don't know the name ;-) The rebels can keep the old one.

Give Russia anti-tank!

- HAT: The RPG-29 with black camo and 1P38 optical sight, maybe looks big but its only 1 meter before being fired.

And for curiosity reasons , in which year does PR take place in?

PS: Specialist should get the Saiga-12 aswell

The PR Devs have Advisers for that, im pretty sure there well aware of this.

We are not accepting equipment suggestions (this includes everything: weapons, gear and vehicles) for any factions for which we have an MA or knowledgeable people within the team.

This includes both US factions, the British, the IDF, the PLA and the Russians.

And I don't think we should trust ARMA 2 much, because there are some several mistakes there AFAIK...

Thanks for the welcoming! :)

The main reason i made the post is because Russia lacks these weapons they are very boring to play with.

For example: the map Codename Silent Eagle, Germany has 3 Tanks/APC's and the Russian infantry can?t do anything against them. I have actually never seen Russia win in this map ever since the patch.

This was to even up chances for the germans, who had their HAT and LAT removed due to causing CTD's.

Welcome to the forums PoisonBill. Like it has been said here, the dev team has military advisors that takes care of what weapons/vehicles the teams should have in the game. They know what they have IRL so you should trust them alot more than a game like ARMA 2. :)

At your question about timeframe of the game. That depends on each map, but its mostly around 2010.

Lastly, this is a suggestion. There is a specific section for that, but its closed for people with less than 25 posts. And this is exactly why :)

Yeah, Russia will get their AT kits back when the issues with the German ATs are solwed.

Just ambush them with ATGMs. Brutally effective.
