Kashan needing new stuff

I have a few suggestions about Kashan. Here they are:
  1. Add a small city somewhere.
  2. Add a secrete runway
  3. add a watch tower on one of the mountains
  4. Add a pill box into one of the mountains
  5. a vehicle repair station (2 of them would be good) Maybe on the Easy and west side
  6. Rocket Silo
These are just a few of my suggestions, not all of them should be added but maybe one or two would make the game a little bit more better in my opinion. What do you think about them and I want to hear your suggestions.

The suggestions section is not open. Rather than having direct suggestions, highlight the current problems (in your own opinion) and tie in some possible solutions. We want to hear why these problems exist, not just 'add this plz'

You should also consider making a map if you have this many ideas for one.

I do agree that Kashan should have more bunkers and stuff, AND more sand dunes around NV, because its a dead place, you can't go in NV without being wiped off when MEC got all the bunkers and are attacking NV, its just 2 mountains, watching in the horizon, and the village is empty, all house gone. Nobody wants to go in, cause they will get kill instantly, so game finish usually without NV capped. MEC are in security in their mountains and there's no way for the US to recover.

I'd love to create a new map, but I don't know what programs I need to use. Could you please tell me?

I wouldnt say that kashan needs to be changed, more our play style, to a more team orrientated play style, but its hard, i could talk alot about tactics and such here, but its not there forums for it. The simple things are just to take out enemy FoB's, and capture the high ground.

But this can be hard, since it would take a more team orintated game style, and thats not easy to find every day.

An all over, would maybe change US faction and CP's to diffrent locations than the know ones, like the other maps are running.

Don't change Kashan! It's one of the best map in PR.

I think Kashan is one of the best maps.
-good performance when playing on it
-balanced
-many asset to waste :wink:

I support swapping out the F16 and MiG29 for another A10 and Su25, respectively. Other than that, the asset layout is fine. Changes to the map itself would be a new map, and shouldn't be suggested, just done and shown for approval.
Players might be hardcoded, but that sure doesn't seem to stop anybody from trying.

seriously?

either you're suggesting putting a secret runway in a mostly flat desert map, or suggesting some kind of runway capable of secreting? Secreting what I dare not guess.

suggestion forum is closed, but if it was open this suggestion wouldn't get very far anyway, the map audit called desert rats did a couple of changes to kashan however tbh kashan is just old and fun, changing it is a bit of a waste of time at this point when you could be making a new map.

wow rudd these w.i.p.s are amazing sorry to hear you are leaving the PR team :( too bad you couldent work on them for longer i especialy love the unamed beach assult map it would be nice to see in the next PR. and please who ever picks these maps up make the beach assult one for the americans vs russians it would be a reverse red dawn! > :) mehehehe

Maybe a Runnway as a FOB Asset, need 3 Support Crates to Build it :mrgreen:


But seriusly what i wish would be. Bunker Doors or other Cover for the Inf against Tanks and Mortars.
Actuall its a bit hard to play Infantrie at this map. To much possibilitys to die.

Yeah putting a couple underground bunkers under the whole middle flag area would be boss

and I also agree with the a10 suggestion, it would make the map more of a ground warfare focused game, which is what I've always seen the game as

Or maybe re-introduce Desert Rats, that's just my 2 cents.

I don't see any reason to change Kashan, it's a perfectly working map, as the others have said.

kashan I think is fine for the most part I think they need to make the town a little larger and add some building to the map but thats about it. It would be nice if some how they could spread out the map a little and make people use more of it.
