If you are looking for a combination of squad work, tactics, and team oriented fun, then this battle is for you! You will need to operate as cohesive crews to decimate the enemy! Only a team with coordinated crews and commander will be victorious!
Join us on Teamspeak3 that evening for a surefire night of laughs, surprise attacks, and yelling as we battle as a community!

Game: BF2 roject Reality .95
PR is unique in the way that tanks are used. Here are a few tips and video on how to use not only tanks, but any armor in PR.

* You must be in the same squad
* You must have a Crewman kit (see video below)
* You must have a two man crew to operate, gunner and driver (third position is .50 cal, also must have crewman kit)
* Gunner has two types of rounds, Heat and AP (AP=armor piercing, use this one)
* Driver has smoke canisters
* Tanks can zoom with default "x" button (Note: not all armor has same level of zoom)

Time: 11/20/2010 @ 8PM EST

Map: Kashan Desert, Battle for Qinling, Iron Eagle (Vehicles only mode)

How to Join: (1st 36 people to sign up, 18 per side in squads of two for a total of 9 squads per side) (+2 scouts/commanders for a total of 38 possible) SEE RULES!!!

1. Grab a partner to be part of your tank crew
2. Post in this thread you and your partners name (only one person needs to post)
3. Don't have a partner, PM me and I will add you to a list of people in need of a partner in this post. Let me know if you match up with someone, or I will match you up.
4. Want to be your team's scout/commander, read the rules first!
5. Be on the server 15mins prior to start time
6. Get in TS for the password!!! Only those signed up or on a waiting list will be given the password.

Rules: (READ THEM AND KNOW THEM! No excuses!!!)

1. You and your partner must be in same squad and remain for the duration of the event, you may not transfer crews. If you partner bails on you, you are out of luck so pick someone responsible!
2. No team killing for vehicles
3. Only tanks or light armor may be used (NO helio, planes, Tow Humvee, AT, landmines, or other non-armor vehicles/weapons)
4. Only the person who signed up as commander may use Commander assets!!! (No UAV, Command Truck repair stations)
5. No bailing on your tank and running for another. You may cower and run and drive it back to repair.
6. Each side is allowed ONE DESIGNATED SCOUT/COMMANDER ONLY!!! The scout/Commander must sign up here!!!(Admins will be watching)
1. Scout/Commander may use any NON-ARMORED Vehicle, UAV, Helio, Plane for scouting purposes only! Killing of the scout squad also counts towards total kills!
2. Scout/Commander may NOT use JDAM support!!!
3. Scout/Commander MAY put down mobile repair points for tank crews
4. Downfall to the scout/commander is you will NOT be racking up the kills, so if you choose to be the scout you are choosing not to win!
5. If someone stays scout/commander the entire night they will receive a ribbon for their effort

Due to the fact that BF2 can't be a free for all, it will be US vs MEC. Watch who you shoot!

Awards:

1. The tank crew with the most kills (not total points) will receive the coveted Top WiH Tank Crew Ribbon for their sig.
2. The winning overall team will also receive a special ribbon for their sig.

BTW it is possible to do "death match" mode in BF2 but it takes a shit load of modding (mainly python work), but DM isn't really a PR thing

And...as for squads, you are your tank mate are the entire squad, so it is up to you whose direction to follow

As for commander/scout. they are just there to give you intel on enemy tank positions.

Teams will be randomly set.
