In your opinion, what's the best and worst rifle and why

TAR-21 is the BEST gun in PR. Accurate, very high ROF. Played GAza beach yesterday, Hamas guy comes out of a house 50m from my squad (what was left from it after an ambush), I zoom in (I had the TAR with MARS sight) didn't even wait for the deviation to settle and just sprayed that mofo. Killed 3 more guys. Best gun in PR. BTW, i haven't used G36 at all. I heared it's a beast.

Wouldn't say beast. It sucks quite badly in CQB due to its huge scope with only tiny sight picture (same for the red dot). On longer range it's rather badass though, but not more than other 5.56mm's too.

I like how the Galil looks like but since I can't see shit through its ironsight I would call it the worst.
My favorite would be the G3 ironsight/4x scope.

IIRC all (bar INS?) rifles have the same deviation. So im not going to base my decision on whats most accurate.

So its down to sights and other factors. So best:

G3/QBZ , G3 because of power, QBZ due to awesome scope and irons.

Worst = m16/4 . With all guns having same accuracy, and these being 3 burst when rest are full auto they are not as good.

Best: G36. It's good looking, it's precise, deadly at every range, not too much recoil and it's German! And on top of it even the medic has a scoped version.

But I also love the new British L85 with ACOG and their eotech Shotgun.

Love the G36 and the m16 cause the are accurate and deadly.

Hate the British assault rifle (can't remember the name) cause the scope is makes it hard to shoot.

at long range i don't have a preference as long it has a scope. but close up i want light recoil. rate of fire isn't that big of a deal for me.

I'm currently in love with the Lee Enfield and it's newfound stopping power. One shot kills regardless of range, and the great feeling of beating someone with around thirty times more firepower with a bolt action rifle make for a great combination.

You know, I'm pretty sure the Lee still uses the same damage/ballistics/deviation as the Taliban/Insurgent Sniper Rifle. I've always loved it too.

c7 !=with acog is the best long range rifle, mid range its qbz by far the sights in the scopes is awesome

worst has to be the lee enfield. i dont know why, but i think the round it fires it bigger then a 7.62, so it should deal major damage to anything it hits. the problem is you've only got one shot before they either run for cover or start shooting back.

Is there really such a difference? Every rifleman exept AR has the same deviation. And mostly (in open-spaced maps) your actual shooting will sound like this: pop, wait small amount of seconds, pop, wait again, etc. Every gun can do that.

But yeah I find the IDF M16(A1?) with red dot sights is somewhat more lethal.

I'm equally comfortable with all the rifles in the game, but I have to say the FAL is the best.

QBZ95 is my favorite still, average damage and stopping power, low recoil, great accuracy. A killer in CQB and a sure shot at long range. best all round rifle in PR.

the Tar21 is a close second for similar reasons

worst rifle i would have to say in game is the m16. the C7 is much better. the Burst function is useless both ingame and IRL, it was a cheap way of creating fire discipline among troops. The acog sight is alright and the rifle fairs well at long range but with it's low damage, i'd prefer any thing else over it in that situation. If i'm going to have to fire slowly, i'd rather the first 1 or 2 shots get the kill rather than needing a third.

dishonorable mention goes to the M4, same reasons as the m16

my new favourite has to the the g36 . Its like a sniper rifle and while it might not sund the best to fire it has a good balance between power and recoil.


worst - i'd say scoped ak74 or scoped chinese QBZ thingy.

My favorite is the SKS. I am horrible with the M4 ACOG.

I like the G3 - I think its quite accurate and it feels powerful. For some reason, any long rifle is my weapon of choice in first person shooters.

Best is G3 aimpoint. Its not AntiAircraft if u can use it right. Ak74u is also awesome.

I like the G3, quite a bit, only because the irons are very easy to use, and it seems to have the perfect stopping power.

Now, the worst must be the Lee Einfield Ironsights, just because.. bolt action + iron sights feel really strange.

I am actually VERY good with the enfield and iron sights. I have kills over 400m with it.

I am very good with the AK74, and AK74su. It is great for city fighting.

THe SKS....yea, why did they take the bayonet off? Why have an SKS if you arent going to have the bayonet?
