[Help] Using skins

Ok well ive used skins for other games but bf2 just confuses me, ive tried many different ways to load skins for PR because Id like to change the look of the soldiers but its not working. Said to load the zip through the con file but that never worked, tryed replacing the files that didnt work. I need some help here maybe someone can give me a detailed tut on how to install skins for use with PR, or just a brief description of what I need to do. Thanks in advance for any help Ill be around.

changing the skins can be used as a form of cheating and as such, many games including BF2/PR do not allow it. You can change it for local/sp play fine but play online with it and punkbuster will kick you for, to put it as simple as possible, hacking.

ah that kinda sucks, considering the fact that everyone mods just about everything. Punkbuster is one of the biggest loses when games use the cheat protection. But thanks for the reply.

It would be a little unfair if you could just skin people to a bright 'pink' colour so you could easily see them.

thats true. My main goal was just to have special ops skins for like specialist class and such. Would have been cool heh

if you really wanted new skins, u could make ur own mod cause hacking into pr is kind of like cheating. kind of.
