Rifle-GL-Rifle Anim

Post by Dev1200 »

We all know that changing from your rifle, to your grenade launcher, to your rifle again makes it so that you don't have to take out your rifle again after selecting the underbarrel GL. Essentially, it is a much smoother, and more realistic animation that was added.

Perhaps this could be added to other equipment, such as bayonets? Right now if you switch from bayonet to rifle, you have to take out your weapon again, like you're just picking it up. and it looks rather silly, to be honest. Wouldn't it be simpler to just remove the bayonet from the end of the gun? :P

I guess the only thing keeping the Devs from doing it is it being a lot of work :)

And I dunno whether Chuc left the team now or not, so ya...

Well, they've done it for grenade launchers. =) They could make a lot of the Gun-Equipment-Gun anims smoother.

Another good example is going from deployed to undeployed for AR/Marksman.

I bet they're probably already doing this, but yeah I'm sure it's a lot of work, so thats why we haven't seen it for everything yet
