So I downloaded patch 1.41, 1.5, then step 1, and step 2, but when I get to step 3 it always gets stuck somewhere and basically lags up/freezes my entire computer and I'm forced to shut it down. I have downloaded it from moddb.com and I tried redownloading step 3 twice. The first time had same prob except in different place and the second time said something about being corrupt. I don't really understand what the problem is and if anyone has any advice I will gladly take it.
I have Win7 and don't use Steam

It appears that you are having problems downloading that 3rd File.
Make sure you have enough disc space available, both where you install to and where you download to.
I suggest you use a download manager like FDM, GetRight or a torrent program, as those are able to resume downloads and correct corrupted downloads.
