Hey guys,
I downloaded a video that is in .wmv format. It comes with a .srt file that is supposed to contain the english subtitles for the video. How do I get the subtitles from that .srt file to show up in the .wmv video? I am just using windows media player to play the video.

Re: .srt file help
You can convert .srt to .sub (subrip). You'll find a few good freeware programs that will do that. Or try using VLC media player.

VLC is by far the most versatile player I had the pleasure to stumble upon. If something doesn't work in VLC I usually give up... and believe me, I am not a person that gives up easily

VLC is the way to go
.
And if the subs are a bit off, sync them by pressing "g" or "h" (to make them appear sooner or later
