Sandbag protection / dig in

Post by PoisonBill »

Something which could be of quite good use in the battlefield, and what shouldn't be so hard to fix is soldiers being able to make their own sandbag protection. I don't have any modelling skills so I have made a picture (sketch) of my idea.

The idea is that a soldier (with a spade) is able to make his own cover whenever he wants, wherever he wants but only once until resupplied. I haven't figured out all the details yet, but I believe that it is a good idea that could work quite well. You could use it when you don't have any cover available, like in a desert, loads of sand, but no cover. Or when you just need a good, safe firing position. What do you guys think?

I hope you like my drawing :)

Welcome to the forums.

I think this should have possibly been in the suggestion section of the forums, then again, this has already been suggested before.

There is a reason you can't post in the suggestion section yet. Take some time to search for any ideas you have before posting, there's been a couple of discussions on this very subject.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
