An idear ..

Post by psychickactivity »

Good morning gentlemen,
After having spoken to UK_FORCE, I would like to post something I really care about.

It's been 3 years I have been playing in PR which is truly a revelation for me.
I play PR because it is more than a game, it is a state of mind of friendship, respect between teams, like a generation meeting in a same game, frustrated by other games which haven't reached my expectations.
But nowadays, I don't have fun anymore compared with the previous versions, I noticed the game is lacking of something, something I can't seem to describe.
So, I have an opinion and I would like to know if you can share it with me, even maybe develop it.

I was wondering if you, the DEVs, would reconsider putting old maps like Ejod desert, Sunset city, Bi-ming, Operation ghost train. Having now new vehicles, new weapons is really awesome and I think those old maps slightly revamped could make a lot of fans happy. I am not criticizing the current maps at all.

About the weapons, I remember that the engineer had slams ;) , my joy, I could destroy the fobs or bunkers, it was great with an helicopter and a good pilot, the commando spirit was really present. The fobs and bunkers were two excellent ideas. I must have forgotten some other things, I only know PR from about 3 years.

So, I wonder if you can bring some old maps back in the game, some old rules and other things along those lines.

Anyway, don't see any offenses whatsoever, criticisms, these are just the thoughts of a passionnate player about a fantastic game. I know you must have had good reasons to delete those features.

Thanks to UK_FORCE for everything he did and thank you all...

I think they removed maps that weren't up to standard.. not ones that were taking up room ;)

They should release a PR version with nilla stats,so the nubs would go there and not ruin it for us,wich would bring back alot of the old days of a smaller and more elite community :P

Yeah the size was not to the standart of the new vehicles and teamwork I believe.

Well, revamping the maps would be a good idea. I would suggest you post it in the modding section or talk to the original creators of the map, exposing the ideas you might have to make the map up to today's standarts.
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D
