VOIP Issue (Recieving Wise)

Hey Everyone I'll be quick and to the point,

I've got a new 21.5in IMAC running xp via bootcamp. Mod runs great on max settings etc. Often however I'll join a squad and some of their transmissions if not most will come back with a bit of stutter. Makes it hard to understand orders. I've confirmed several times that the rest of the squads voip is running great, just mine is wonky. Rarely I'll join a server and have no issue, but very often the stutter kicks in and I can't understand orders as half the Leaders sentence cuts out. Also my mic is running great as they can hear me without interruption. Internet wise my ping is beyond super as I've got a Verizon fios connection with low ping on the servers I play.

Any solutions? Is this a sound/integrated card issue? If so what should I do...

Make sure windows is up-to-date.
Get the latest bootcamp drivers.

Or this could maybe be a network problem. How is it setup?

What router do you use? Check your routers VOIP settings.

"Some routers with 'packet inspection' turned on can also trigger a disconnect when game data or voip traffic triggers a false "ping flood"attack and the router shuts down needed ports to protect your network.
So try turning packet inspection off to see if that helps.
If you have a busy network you can also get dropped if your packets are consistently getting delayed due to high traffic. (your ping jumps way up from time to time)
If your running Xp you can tune up your internet connection
with TCP Optimizer to maximize throughput.
