New PR player Training!

Are you interested in PR? But you never played it before?

We can offer you some basic insight into this game, help you get on your feet. We want to make sure your gaming experience in PR isnt frustrating!
We will teach you how to fire, requesting kits and FOB building.
We will also introduce you to mumble and some basic guidlines regarding that.

These instructers are dedicated to help you out, so dont be afraid to contact them about anything! (Regarding PR)

On topic: Very nice initiative, deservest to be stickified -- this is more "PR related" than the "introduce yourself to the community" thread, and hopefully will make the new players feel better ie. No need to create new thread, hopefully they will get more and better responses in this thread.

Okay, as it is stated in goguapsys thread, I don't need to create a new thread. So my "Hello community, hopefully some fun plays will follow in the next months" goes here. Along with my "registration form":

Ingame name: Same as here

Age: 23

Experience in FPS/Tactical Games: I played Operation Flashpoint (Demo, then full game, then Addon, then ArmA (with disappointment), then ArmA 2 (with much disappointment), then OF: Dragon Raising (with utter disgust) and then remembered Project Reality just a week ago, while searching for a good-feeling realistic tactical military FPS with good graphics. I was really happy to see that this worked out so great for Black Sand Studios.

What made you aware of PR: See above.

What do you expect: Realistic and at the same time fun gameplay in the context of modern infantry and combined arms warfare. : ) I also will try for the first time in my life to play with people speaking another language than my native one... Hopefully it will not result in too much grief for everyone listening...

Who are you: Yeah, concerning actual multiplayer experience, I'm really a newb. I cannot recall playing anything other than LAN-games (and that was 5 years ago). I hate when someone breaks the immersion of a game by bunny-hopping along or doing other things that don't belong into a warzone. I also think, that random, important-sounding military radio-chatter in the background is the greatest thing a game/movie can offer, in terms of atmosphere. Getting a bit more personal: I design webpages, working at a small webdesign agency in Germany. I think there is not much more you would want to know. ; )

I think I am someone who can follow orders, assess a situation under pressure (say, someone is blowing shit up right next to me while I need to estimate the number of enemy units) and I will even try to hide my uncanny german accent as good as possible. : P

Where can I get my gear, and where is my barrack?

Nice to meet you Dunkelseele, welcome to Project Reality! I'm looking forward on seeing you on the battlefield so we can both kick ***! Get your gear from Captain Wicca and head to the training field, you got enough to learn before you see the real thing.
