MEC currently have BTR-60 as their 'BTR' APC, back when they had the actual BTR-90 from vBF2, they always won due the higher RoF on its cannon than LAV25's one :p

I guess the balance will be asymmetrical.

Has Operation Snowstorm seen any updates or is it still the same map as last year?

Pretty much the same map. Has revived a little bit of love like adding some snow tents to each of the mains and a few gameplay tweaks like replacing one of the Lynxes with the Chinook and for the PLA removing a transport truck and replacing it with another Z-8, but its basically the same map, same gameplay and other than thous tweaks, no real differences :)

Awesome! Can't wait to see it. Will these maps be available for the single-player mode, or exclusive to the multiplayer mode?

Figures. I haven't been able to get the multiplayer mode of either PR or BF2 to work since I installed them, so I'm stuck in single-player mode. :( If anyone could help me figure this dilemma out, please contact me on one of the IM programs on my profile here.

Like AFsoccer here, most of the Dev team, including myself started out in the community modding forums (although there wasn't any community modding forums here when I started with Muttrah v1 :p ) and since the work was up to standard, got picked up by the team ;)

Awesome.

In regards to Shija Valley: are we finally giving maps their background stories?

Also, will BMP-2 insta-kill everything by shooting two ATGM at once?

The BMP-2M has FOUR ATGMs. The original BMP-2 has just one at the ready.
