[Map] Battle for the Qantara (4km) [WIP]

Name: Battle for the Qantara

Location Egypt at the peace bridge near the Qantara ( kinda based on kipur war )

size: 4km 1024x1024

Factions: MEC vs IDF or MEC vs USA

Gameplay: Everything exept jets , tanks and apcs will be usefull , but also some places might only be breached by inf , transport helis and attack are usefull too cuse the map is big

excuse me if u found a doubled pic

Other info: there will be 4 cp maby more , 1 big city , flooded city and 2 caves beside each other and u cant enter the 1st one to get to the other one so the will make campers that just ruch into the cave to camp the entrance less chance to happen
and the last one i didnt deside yet , it might be a city not sure , there will be a bridge that connects all of that in the middle of the water but its not a capture point but it will be very usefull or u can build deployable bridges ( stell didnt add them ) or u can search for a nice ramp for the apc to swim in it :D

P.S: The flooded city i think it will be real cuse the arilry shells will destroy the water pipes , it happens while we dig alot so it will happen with artilry and i updated the flooded city to look more real by making some land on water so u will feel that it did realy flood , and yes u will walk u wont swim , u only wont crouch or phrone.

promising start, just keep at it

ofc factions and assets come near the end of the map making cycle but i reckon IDF v MEC just to open up that theatre of war.

Look forward to seeing more progress

Thx guys for the support , i want some apcs that will make damage and the usa have the anhilator wich will be good for this semi water map , the idf have the nammer not sure if it can swim or not if it can swim yeah i might put idf , but anyway , i have problem with my map i cant see it on the map list i will make a post about it so if u guys can help , go to my post dont type solutions here so the devs dont get made :D

I like Egypt as a the map's setting, preferably with IDF vs MEC.
perhaps some villages instead of a 3rd city?

just wondering? where on earth is a perfectly circular city sunk into a perfekt circular hole?

it just doesn`t make any sense? and where did the water come from?

i said i updated it , its not a pefictly made whole , and i made roads so dont worry i always add and its not sunk its flooded :D and the water came from the broken under ground pipes as i said :S , i think i might add 2 vilages not sure :D

The terrain around that city is incredibly steep for an otherwise flat desert, and you're going to have problems with terrain warping as it is.. I would go with a much, much softer angle even if you want it in sort of a valley, and make it look a little more realistic in the way of flooding (sporadic flooding with road statics in some places above the waterplane)

T_T plz read what i said , a guy said its a perfectly made whole i answered i always upgrade it and i made roads and made it more realistic so now u will find 40% land on the flooded city so u feal that the high terain didnt get touched by the water and yes i will make it more smoother dont worry guys , just give me more ideas thx in advance for any thing xD

i finished building the biggest bridge in bf2 :D , but i stell need to finish the last capture point so i need ur help on this one ,
should i make it a village or a big city?!

Whatever the sattelite images show, and what's usefull for your map. And yeah some new update images would be a nice add ;-)
