PR.exe not working!!!

Post by Dirtguy »

Okay so right now i am about to re-install everything, this is really pissing me off.
I spent 3 days finding away to work Project Reality and my disc breaks and now i have boughten a new one from Best Buy.
The PR.EXE is not working at all for me! My BF2 works completely fine but whenever i click the shortcut for PR.ExE it won't start.. nothing just happens. I even run as admin on it in the folder as well. My BF2 is always located in the C:\Program Files\ and this the first time it has happened to me because i played Project Reality before. I even activated it from BF2 and it says that to change my shortcut to this but it's already at that.
I deleted everything i can find related to BF2, delete all registry errors with cclean.
The only thing left that i can't delete is this!
Could this be related to why i can't play Project Reality?

And also should i install it in a new folder?

The first entry is probably your Battlefield 2 folder in Program Files. For a totally clean install you should delete that folder as well.
The rest is irrelevant as they are only links or other programs.

There will also be a "Battlefield 2"-folder inside "My Documents" which you should delete as well.

Please post your specs (esp. which OS).

Installing into a different folder is not neccessary.
If you are using Vista or 7 you should disable UAC and AV software during installation. Follow the instruction from the manual: http://realitymod.com/manual/pr_manual.pdf
