Delete zomming out animation for guns.
I think the animation for unscoping should be taken out or dramatically reduced. The other day I was playing as a sniper and I heard someone running towards me so I start to unscope and i wait to get up. To late by the time i un scope there is a knife in my back. Somehow I dont think this is real at all (playing airsoft and all it only takes millsecounds to put down your gun while aiming. The zooming in animation is perfect just zooming out.

Its for balance, just swap weapons if you wanna shoot somebody running up to you. Its to stop people for walking around with a sniper being super 1337 with it and CQBing with it.

just press 2 and it "deletes" the zoom out animation and switches right to the pistol

Actually, it's not there for balance. It's a "bug", rather. The scope-out animation has to be as long as the scope-in animation - though now I believe with all that new fancy coding, like the grenade launcher, there might be a work-around possible, although I dunno if that's worth the work required.

Like Smiddey said, you don't have to scope out of the gun, you can simply press the button of the weapon you want to switch to (1, 2, etc.) and it will skip the zoom animation and go straight to the new weapon.
