Banned !!!! WHY ????

My son (9yr old) was playing pr about a week ago and was banned .I never queried him about it thinking he just got kicked. Low and behold I go to join the following day and bugger me dead punkbuster came up with a ban on the server. What would have been the cause to be banned??? and how long is a ban normally for ?? .

I am 46yrs old why would I want spin a story about my boy playing pr. Next time you join BigD 1 or 2 put up a post to see if he has joined anyones squad in the past. I normally join then ask the squadie if it is alright for him to play while I assist him with the basic fundamentals. Do you think he knows how to play games when he owns a PS3 ,PSP, XBOX and a computor all connected to a 31" lcd tv in his room.

In Project Reality, there are individual gaming locations called 'servers', each server is usually run by a seperate community such as a clan, or communities such as TacticalGamer. First, you will have to find out exactly what server he was playing on at the time, as it is highly unlikely that your account was banned from the BF2 account server completely.

I assume that he was playing on your account, and he was playing on the Australian [url=http://bigdgaming.net[/url]BigD Gaming Community servers.[/url] Ask him exactly what he was doing at the time, and if he doesn't know what he did wrong, send an email to [url=http://%3Cb%[email protected]%3C/b%3E][email protected][/url] and state your account name as well, the admins will reply to you in due time.

The players on this forum are from around the world, and although the BigD admins may check these forums too, they cannot directly liason with you through a public thread.

And for reference, never ever make a public complaint thread about being banned, it will only lead to further problems.

Hi ya Dtacs thanks for the positive answer and I will have to say yes to most of what you have stated.I have tried asking him why how he got banned. I am not complaining about beening banned just do not know why and for how long. Will try the link you posted and maybe they can shed some light

You mentioned in the OP that you/he got PB Banned!
That leads me to think that it is not necessarily a Server Admin imposed ban.

However, best thing to do is post on the forums of the organisation that control the server.

A ban can be temporary (5 minutes, 1 Day etc) or permanent. It depends. Again it's worth asking
on their forums.

Grossi I think if you've been banned by an admin it's still PB that gives the message, not 100% on that.

Best thing to do vets is find some server admins, explain the situation to them & get yourself unbanned. It's just the one server so you're not on the PB Black list, which would of banned you from all BF2 Servers.
