Administrator Rights

Post by orunes »

Hi,
I have a problem.
I installed PR on my parent's PC but I have not the password for the administator.
The pr.exe needs the password, why is this?
I can't start PR via the BF2.exe and need a password for the pr.exe, how can I fix this?

I dont understand what you mean :? ??:

You mean you cant install the game because of no password to run the installer or you have intalled PR but cant run it due to a PW your parents put on the PC?

forgive me I never heard of it before.

The simple thing to do would be to ask your parents to enter there Password when prompted and you leave the room or something than install away.

I'm having the same problems.
To clarify it more, any time to click on the pr exe it will ask for the admin password. Having this is pretty annoying, wanting to play PR and you realise you can't without finding your parents too enter the password.
Would there be a way to like with the next patch, for the exe not needing the password when loading.
Ryan.

Get your parents to disable UAC, then you don't need to put in a password every time a program requests administrator privileges.
