Hi!
I've been trying three times in a row now to fraps a few clips while I'm up flying the Apache, but I keep getting kicked by Punkbuster for Corrupted File/Memory. This only happends when I have fraps running, it also happends if it's just running in the background, not recording anything.
I've tried updating Punkbuster manually, which haven't solved the issue. Anyone else got any advice on how to solve this?

You should check if you can update FRAPS.
Would be interresting to know if this also happens on vBF2 PB enabled servers.
There has been threads on that PB issue where FRAPS was believed to be the cause but I do not remember if or if not there was a more convenient solution than simply not using FRAPS. Maybe you can dig them up.

Got a PROBLEM? Check this: PR:BF2 Installation Guide
Got a common QUESTION? check here first: PR:BF2 FAQ, MUMBLE FAQ

Thank you, I will try updating Fraps and see if that solves the issue. If it does, I'll make another post in this thread. :][R-COM]SnipingCoward wrote:You should check if you can update FRAPS.

One thing I know is that if its a known cracked version (illegal, as in you didn't buy it) punkbuster will kick you if they detect it. A member in my clan had a cracked version and that was happening to him then he bought it and no problems.
So if you have a cracked version that most likely be your problem. I own FRAPS and I have no problems with the latest update so I would try that.

Nope, not a cracked version, it's a bought and legit version of BF2.centralhigh76 wrote:One thing I know is that if its a known cracked version (illegal, as in you didn't buy it) punkbuster will kick you if they detect it. I tried updating Fraps to version 3.2.3 which seems to have solved the problem, however I only tried for about 10 minutes earlier today which surely isn't enough time to say that it did solve the issue, but I didn't get kicked anyhow.

Ya i meant a cracked version of FRAPS. But if the update looks good for those 10min then you should be good.

Most likely it's Fraps needing an update. Had that last year or so, upgraded to the latest version back then and worked fine ever since.
