Im afraid this might be hardcoded, all i want is arrows on my map. Mostly for marking direction of movement.
Ideally, we could place a small arrow on the minimap with the SL radio, facing the same way the player does. Set move marker, set distance, face the way you want and select arrow from the menu.
If this can't be done, maybe add an extra menu for the commander with 8 arrow (N,NE,E,etc) markers in it.
Right now i can only tell which way is the enemy moving by placing a new map marker while the old one is still also there. This leads to confusion sometimes, a nice little arrow would be a lot better.

That's a good idea, I support it and I am sure it isn't hardcoded, the only issue I can see is people trying to type letters with arrows on map
I support your idea!

Completely agree with this. Something that could also help would be arrows instead of dots on the map so you know wherew friendlies are shooting

That was the reason it was removed. -_-'Haji with a Handgun wrote:Something that could also help would be arrows instead of dots on the map so you know wherew friendlies are shooting

I really really like this idea. Yes, the battlefield is confusing. You know who is trained to be organized in a battle though? Soldiers...
Vectors would create a much more robust 'planning' and 'spatial awareness' that we currently lack.
