New connection issue PLEASE HELP

Hi Guys,

I have bee playing PR for over 6 months on the same desktop I built pretty much specifically for PR . However, recently (with nothing being changed) I have been unable to stay connected in the game for me than 10 minutes. I gives me a "Problem with your connection" and will either d/c me or I will keep losing connection until I'm kicked out. I dont lose heartbeats or get PB kicked either. My ping is solid also it doesnt spike. I am running a wireless connection but have never encountered an issue. Here are some other things I have made sure of.

No other programs/torrents running
Reset router and modem numerous times
uninstalled skype for possible conflict
system restored my desktop
took all other computers off network to confirm they werent using all bandwith

Did you maybe get a new router?
It is possible that the router is falsely detecting a DOS-Attack. You might want to check the logs and turn down security features for testing purposes.

Does this also occur in vBF2 and any other game?
Do other pcs in the network have similar problems?
Did you check if there maybe is a new conflicting WLAN network using your channel?

I remember having the same problem a few years back, with vBF2. I did not lose connection to anything else than the game. I was still connected to Xfire, TS, etc.

To be honest, I couldn't find a fix for it. I had tried everything, and was out of ideas. After a couple of days, the problem disappeared.

Thank you for the responses! Coward and saxoni, it turns out they were doing testing in my area and it was effecting the overall connection speed. It was confusing me because I could load a web page and go to speedtest.net and get good readings, but not in game. Thank you guys for all the help. And Saxoni, I think they should start a dating issues forum, your advice is very in depth and you might be able to make a small profi off that great advice !
