Why most dont use mumble

Post by stealth420 »

1- Its not built into the game, most people dont want to start up 2 different programs.

2- Flamers- Walk up to you and there not in your squad and they start talking smack for no reason. Example, flying kiowa on karbala, i accidentally tk a teammate, so he camps on pad and curses at me everytime i land. Even though hes not in my squad.

3- Toooooooooooo Much spam in mumble, i get in for about 5 minutes then i cant take it, a whole bunch of BS about random stuff, just to bring one topic in here, one person last night was talking about shaving a goat!!!!!!!!

Add reasons why you think mumble is bad or good.

Because our private Team Speak server is better, and I don't have to deal with the random idiots on mumble.

Shaving a goat huh?

Thats pretty insane.

You know in PR, there is something called an admin, mute button. That pretty much solves your issues.

That being said. What do you think could improve Mumble? From a programmble view

This thread won't lead to anything good. We are working on an improved version of mumble that will fix most issues people have with it. When that comes out, we can talk again.

But we won't be able to fix people being jerks, that's why we give channel admin powers to server admins that ask. Play on the right servers and you won't have problems.

Now, totally discarding the benefits that Mumble gives because of some ocasional spam, is the idiotic behavior to me. But to each its own, if you want to just play with your small circle of friends, go ahead, you are missing out.
