Microphone won't work/Fixed

Okay, for the past 3 days my microphone hasn't worked ingame. How ever, it works on Killing floor, Arma 2 and etc.

Now, I've not changed any of the settings. It was working fine up until 3 days ago, and it's now just stopped. A team mate said when I press B sometimes, they can hear a buzzing sound. But I don't understand why it's not working.

Any help?

go through control panel -> sound -> recording tab and see if the microphone works

then go through BF2 vanilla to options and try to set up the mic there. sometimes settings may spontaneously get screwed up.
