What ever happened to the Gazelle helicopter, Jabal 2 for that matter

Jabal 2 was great, and the MEC got the Gazelle, which whoever did that beautiful model sir, anyway, what happened to these greatnesses?

MEC ran out of oil to sell, therefore they had no money to by spare parts for said chopper, because the parts were getting pretty expensive in the middle eastern market.

Go figure.

Wishing more maps used this asset! I have only managed to get 1-2 rounds on BS32 so far and that chopper is so much fan. Also would be very cool for asymmetric balance on a lot maps.

Zephyr, maps take a LONG time. I just started to delve into the horrific process of slowly turning my brain into jelly, and its already showing how long and stressful of a hobby it will be.

working on it, if people would post their graphics options and hardware when they post about CTDs it would help more.

Its an interesting craft, but I remember as MEC commander of many rounds of Jabal 2, its rarely effective and worth the risk. The vehicle is a quick and mobile anti-vehicle asset but is only capable of TOW related missions (not Laser Guided even) and requires two personel to opperate.

Of course the ineffectiveness might be a result of my soldiers never having before piloted the craft and a lack of experience.

I do find something wrong when a scout chopper like that (even with LGMs or TOWs) is considered of equivalent value to a Cobra or an Apache in ticket cost and even respawn time.

Yeah I agree with Ytman. The Gazezelle is much harder to operate than other attack helicopters since you can't look down as a gunner and you have to shoot while diving most of the time.
