Ticket Loss List and Intel Points

Post by KEIOS »

I've searched for a complete list, but only could find some informations on how many tickets you lose or gain by different actions. Is there some list, that i might have not found via the search function? The point is, that someone tried to tell me, that losing a FOB would mean ticket loss for our team and another one told me, that destroying parked civilian cars would gain intel points on insurgency mode. I think there are a lot of rumors out there and i would like to have an overview about what really gains or loses tickets in the game.

So here is what i could find and what is unknown to me:

Player gets critically wounded: -1
Player dies: -1
CP lost and captured by enemy: -30 Tickets (AAS) -10 (Skirmish) -? (CnC)
Destroy enemy cache: +25 Tickets (Insurgency)
Jeep or Truck: -2
Transport Helicopter or APC: -5
Tank, IFV, Jet, Attack Helicopter: -10
killing an Insurgent: +1 IP
arresting an Insurgent or Civi: +10 IP
killing an Insurgent SL: ?
killing a Civi: -10 IP
destroying civilian car: ?
destroying insurgents technical: ?
destroying insurgents hideout: ?
destroying a FOB: ?
capturing a CP: +?

And if someone instantly dies, like when he gets killed inside a vehicle, does that mean he loses 2 tickets for the team or just one? And if you get teamkilled, does that mean ticket loss as well?

killing an Insurgent: +1 IP
arresting an Insurgent or Civi: +10 IP
killing an Insurgent SL: +1 IP
killing a Civi: -10 IP
destroying civilian car: nothing
destroying insurgents technical: nothing
destroying insurgents hideout: nothing
destroying a FOB: starts bleed in CnC
capturing a CP: nothing, enemy loses tickets

And if someone instantly dies, like when he gets killed inside a vehicle, does that mean he loses 2 tickets for the team or just one? just one, no crtical wounded status And if you get teamkilled, does that mean ticket loss as well? seeing as you go critical wounded going to say yes
answers in bold, other values are correct

I'm sorry, what is a CP? Hideout?

(I know what CP is on the internet.. Jokes along those lines will be tedious..)

Hideout, taliban/hamas/ins equivilant to a FOB, sometimes referred to as dogbox aswell

Destroy enemy cache: +25 Tickets (Insurgency)
I think this is +30
Jeep or Truck: -2
This one I think -3
Transport Helicopter or APC: -5
Whenever I crash a huey my team goes -10 tickets
killing an Insurgent SL: ?
destroying civilian car: ?
destroying insurgents technical: ?
destroying insurgents hideout: ?
destroying a FOB: ?
capturing a CP: +?
I seriously doubt this.
And if someone instantly dies, like when he gets killed inside a vehicle, does that mean he loses 2 tickets for the team or just one? And if you get teamkilled, does that mean ticket loss as well?
I would like the answer of this too.

From the manual:

Page 7 on Advance and Secure (AASv3)
If a CP controlled by one team is neutralized and captured by the enemy, the team will lose 30 tickets.

Page 8 on Skirmish
If a team loses a CP to the enemy they will be penalized by 10 tickets.

Page 8 on Command & Control (CnC)
When a team loses their FO (forward outpost) they will suffer a huge ticket penalty and continue to lose tickets until they can build up a new one. ( It doesn't actually state how many tickets are lost! )

Page 9 on Insurgency
Insurgent Killed: +1 Intelligence point
Civilian collaborator or insurgent arrested: +10 Intelligence points
Civilian collaborator killed (violating Rules of Engagement): -10 intelligence points

The approximate location of the first cache is shown about 5 minutes into the round. Additional locations will be revealed 5 minutes after enough Intelligence Points were gained by the coalition. The second location is revealed when reaching 50 IP. The total amount of IP needed to see 7 locations is 300. Once all 2 caches in the world are located no further IP will be earned until one of them is destroyed. If there are less than 32 players on the server the IP needed to reveal a cache are halved.

[snip]

Once it is destroyed the coalition team gains 25 tickets and a message will inform you about how many caches remain to be demolished.

Page 13 on Health Management
*Staying alive is one of the most important aspects in Project Reality. Your team will lose one ticket whenever a soldier is critically wounded and another one if a soldier dies.

Page 16 on Vehicle must-knows
Jeep or truck : 2 tickets
Transport Helicopter / APC: 5 tickets
Tank / IFV / Jet / Attack Helicopter: 10 tickets

Destroying insurgent vehicles or structures does not reduce their tickets, because the only way their tickets are lowered is via destroying caches.

So on a somewhat related note: Since you stop gaining IP after both caches are revealed, does that also mean you stop -losing- them? Otherwise you can kill those pesky civi's once both caches are revealed and take no penalties until one cache goes down.

I searched the forums but could not find a definite answer to how many tickets are lost when a commander dies.

I have read/heard many guesses that range from 1 - 25 tickets.

I heard it's 2...

BTW you lose 10 tickets on the huey because I guess, you lose chopper = -5, you die -1 (or -2), squad inside/people you landed on = -5/-6...

Total = -10 (you know what I mean).
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

Vaiper wrote:Wrong. I just checked this myth on local server, and saw it still cost 2 tickets
Did you suicide or did you find a way to insta-kill yourself?
The reason infantry cost 2 tickets is because you lose 1 ticket when you enter the "wounded" state and then when you give up (go into the dead state) is when you lose another ticket.

This is always the best policy.

Until you realise.

"I'm not gonna pull up from this, am I?"
A journalist, interviewing a US marines sniper, asked what he felt when he shot a terrorist.

The sniper shrugged, and replied. "Recoil."
