Memory Issues

Post by bunny »

Hey all, been awhile. Glad to see this still around. Now then, as with most new releases of PR, this one's laggy as hell =[. However, I don't think it should be quite as bad as what I'm experiencing, which is likely due to the "BF2 Memory Error" I see pop up every time I crash out (which is frequent). Something tells me it's related to the amount of RAM dedicated to PR, since I seem to recall a few versions ago many people had to apply a fix which let them allot more than the maximum 2GB to which BF2's engine was limited. What do you guys think? If I'm right, I'd appreciate a link to this fix, thanks!

The memory cap has been removed with the 1.5 update.
Setting 'textures' to medium under Vista is recommended.
