new map idea

sorry for posting this in the general discussion page but i dont have enough post to comment on the suggestions thred but i just have this idea for a future map nagging at me.

today i just watched the russian film called 9th company (look it up it is good!). its about the russian war in afganistan in the 70-80s. it got me thinking... hey why cant something like this be in PR?
i think that the map sould resemble the mountainus part near the MEC main base on Kashan Desert or the western side of lashkar but with steeper mountains. it should be russians vs. taliban (obviously) with the russians having a limmeted number of tanks, trucks and apcs and possibly one or 2 havoks (or if the devs have any plans for the hind ....
anyways i think a map with said terrain would help emphasize either infantry combat or armored infantry combat.

there is my 2 cents (canadian cents ) i would realy like to hear the comunites feed back

There is a reason you cannot post suggestions yet.


This is one of those "do it yourself" kinda things, the PR Team do not take new map suggestions. Those that are produced in-house come from the creativity of our mapping developers, whilst numerous community made maps have been implemented into PR; recent examples include Iron Eagle and Burning Sands, and their makers are often brought onto the mapping team itself.

If you would like to see a particular style of map in PR, the only thing to do is to try to make it yourself. Good luck.
