What country are you from: USA
Experience in Project Reality: About a couple hours of offline play
What area do you want to be trained in: New Player/ Infantry
Who are you: Chris, been playing BF2 for a few years but just recently got the PR mod. I only played about twenty minutes of online before realizing that I was going to need help. I'd like to get the basics down and then do get better at being the infantry.
Do you like Cookies (/cookiemonster): Hell yeah I do

Welcome. Join the xFire group and Zriix or Arnoldio will sort you out. You may get me as instructor as were in the same timezone. When you complete basic ofc.Boomer wrote:Ingame name: StoR-Boomer

What country are you from:
Germany (spoken languages: German, English, bit of French)
Experience in Project Reality:
Played BF2 and also PR extensively some years ago, however I pretty much missed recent developments due to a huge lack of spare time and so I am trying right now to find my way back into the game. So some basic understanding is still left and not forgotten, but I could really use a refresh.
What area do you want to be trained in:
New Player Training, Infantry Training (Sniper/Spotter Training later on would be very interesting)
Who are you:
My name is Henning, 23 years old from Northern Germany. Since I experienced some native speakers of English to have some problems with my first name, you're free to use my third, which is Michael, so Mike would be perfectly okay if you want.
I am an Operation Flashpoint veteran and enjoyed playing OFP, ArmA and also BF2 in an own clan until some years ago - that's also why the "StoR" is still left in my nickname. I am a convinced team player and like tactical, communicative gameplay.
In OFP I was mainly concerned with air support operations of all kinds, mostly as a helicopter pilot, so this is nothing new to me. Back in the days in PR however I used to play mainly in infantry squads, usually as Medic or Specialist, but I've always wanted to look more into sniping and spotting (as a long term goal, one could say).
Do you like Cookies (/cookiemonster):
Not too much, don't like all that sugar stuff... Would prefer some Feta or olives.
NB:
Since I'm sitting here in Germany, best pings are reached on German and UK servers!
Apart from that, I think this training opportunity is a great idea, I was actually thinking about posting a request for some training to ask if anyone was willing to lend me a hand in order to find back into PR. So thank you very much!
Welcome. Join the xFire group and Zriix or Arnoldio will sort you out. Have a good time playin' PR.Lowjoe wrote:Ingame name: JoaHartsock (should be Joe but I was too lazy to create a new account)

What country are you from: Germany
Experience in Project Reality: With pauses in between, about 6 months
What area do you want to be trained in: Squad Leadership
Who are you: So, yeah my name is Lars and I currently go to school (last year).
Calling me just Joe would be better for you I assume
Fortunately I don't write any class-tests in the next weeks so I should have plenty of time.
I'm an active pc gamer now since 13 years or so? In any case, a pretty long time. For the most time I played First-Person-Shooters like Counter Strike and CoD as well as the Battlefield Series. I started playing PR again several weeks ago and spend about 2-3 hours a day playing the mod (differs from day to day). I would like to improve my Squad Leading skills to assure that there is one more good squad on every server I play on

What country are you from:US/UK
Experience in Project Reality:I've been playing PR since .8 came out, and have never played anything else besides infantry. I play very sporadically, maybe a couple rounds a week, sometimes none. I've been a bit out of practice lately and think that learning a new trade in PR will make things easier.
What area do you want to be trained in:Transport Helos
Who are you: My name is Hoyt(Hoy-eet), I live part time in the UK, part time in the US. I've been PC gaming for around 14 years, mostly playing things like CSS, Halo, COD up until a couple years ago. I also played a fair bit of strategy, but I am nowhere near CO material. Flying has always interested me in games, though I always lacked the skill to do it well.

Sooner or later you will notice that I'm still learning English, I understand many things but sometimes I have problems.

Re: Project Reality Training!
Ingame name: Cpt.Teacup
Age: Ehem... 15 (well, in a month tbh.)
What country are you from: US
Experience in Project Reality: At least 8 months. Coop and deployment servers. I know how to be an infantry SM and am capable of following orders as they are given. I know how to operate any vehicle, but can only use cars/jeeps, trucks, and transport helicopters effectively.
What area do you want to be trained in: Adaptation of transport helicopter flying from mouse to joystick. (I know how to fly with a mouse and have been doing so almost since I first started playing PR, I recently got a new joystick though and am having trouble getting used to it.) I also might want to take jet flying lessons in the future.
Who are you: A big PR fan (I actually got BF2 just because I saw PR and wanted to play it, I have only ever played the BF2 demo.) When playing seriously, which I do whenever I'm supposed to, I do my best to follow my leader to the letter. I hate leading. I can use almost any kit if needed but I'm not very effective with some of them. I love to fly helicopters, most particularly transport Hueys, but have only ever flown in coop servers, I'm too afraid of making a mistake on deployment servers and earning myself a bad reputation. I cannot use a mic but I do listen to voip and use Teamspeak and Mumble and can hear you perfectly fine. I should be available tomorrow (Friday) after 3:30 GMT -7 and Saturday-Tuesday at unpredictable times.

Aye, treat this guy well. He is a good lad. I think during our training, he died 3 times because of the helicopter, first due to crate being dropped, second because he was shot out, and third due to a exit bug. But he sticked with us, and that was a great round. Wish you the best flying Destiny, just bring a puke bag.destiny wrote:Ingame name: PR@IDF destiny133t

howa'bout training the admins to show some class and not ban people for "asshatery"...or "i'v had enough of your shit".these are things i'v seen flash across the screen when my family is in the room.my son plays this game and we do not encourage that kind of disrespect.its distastefull and makes an otherwise great game look a bit more childish than bf2.sony or microsoft would neveer flash such messages across your screen no matter what the case.so take from professional people and learn not to be so immature.the admins need some kind of training.rather than just giving admin rights to just anyone.its like letting anybody drive your car...liscense or not.you guys have a beautiful car.dont let some shitheads wreck it cause they said they could drive.prove it!

My answer to that is find a server that does not allow that kind of ****. Don't feed them by playing on their server. I recommend Tactical Gamer if you can't find a good server.HoLLoWTiPz_619 wrote:howa'bout training the admins to show some class and not ban people for "asshatery"...or "i'v had enough of your shit".these are things i'v seen flash across the screen when my family is in the room.my son plays this game and we do not encourage that kind of disrespect.its distastefull and makes an otherwise great game look a bit more childish than bf2.sony or microsoft would neveer flash such messages across your screen no matter what the case.so take from professional people and learn not to be so immature.the admins need some kind of training.rather than just giving admin rights to just anyone.its like letting anybody drive your car...liscense or not.you guys have a beautiful car.dont let some shitheads wreck it cause they said they could drive.prove it!
