Need Help Again!!!

I just downloaded BF2, Im almost done Downloading PR9. I Have Windows 7 and It doesnt work. I did Check and it is version 5. What else do i need to do to get it to work??

You cant get into PR because you are still downloading it. Make sure you run in administrator and have the .95 patch.

I was trying to play just the plain BF2. I messed with it on the compatability, select run with windows vista service pack 3 and it works now Cant believe it thanks for you help bro. Once I install the PR.95 is it like automatically in the game??

You'll get an own shortcut for PR. You'll also get a shortcut for the manual and - if you don't deselect it during installation - mumble. The manual is a must-read, or people in-game will be flaming you for asking question that are answered in it^^ Although of course you are free to ask anything that you didn't understand, here or ingame.

Mumble is a very useful program, so you should instal it as well when the installer asks you. More info on it can be found all around here, though at first you should get PR working I suppose, it's not required to play (on most servers).

Don't forget you have to run PR as administrator too! Let me know if you need any more help.
Oh and when you use Mumble, go ahead and run that as admin just to be sure to avoid any complications.

wbrck Please download and install Teamspeak3 if you don't have it, login on IP: 180.40.118.13 Port:9987. Find a channel named Instructors Loung, if you see any instructor in there feel free to join the channel and ask for help or support, we'll try to do our best - So you wont have to post in here all the time tho I'm sure everyone here is happy to help you

Once PR is fully installed, There will be a shortcut on the Desktop called PR.exe, This shortcut is different than the BF2.exe shortcut, So whenever you want to play BF2, Start it from its own shortcut and vice versa.

When you have everything up and working nicely, here's a way to shorten the start up time.

Right click on the PR.exe shortcut. Go to properties. Under target add this outside the quotes.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +playerName yourplayername +playerPassword yourplayerpass +restart 1

It should bypass the startup movies and log you into BF2's server.

Thanks guys, I got it working this morning got to actually play it, It was awesome. Im gonna get on teamspeak and get with someone just to make sure its right. Had to mess with the punk buster also, but got it all working and got owned. I have more RAM memory coming today and am really looking forward to getting on. But I want to say thanks for all the help and advise without it i would not be able to experience this. Thank again guys,
