Getting insurgent kits

How do I get like a dragunov or rpg for insurgent?? I go to the cache->press t->request marksman and nothing happens!!

Does literally nothing happen or does it say something in the corner e.g. You are not allowed this kit. ??

Insurgents have weapons that 'spawn' unlike the other 'insurgenty' factions like Taliban, who in real life are fairly organised (hence request-kit being available).

Look around on the cache or at main.. RPG, PKM, RPK kits spawn at the caches. More l33t kits spawn at main (look on the floor).

mostly lonewolfs/noobs will grab them and run off with them, hence why you never see them if you are a fairly responsible player. Thank god for the noble RPG however! An anti-sniper and anti-apc kit all rolled into one [somewhat]..

Well, it's kinda straight forward what it says there. To enhance realism, I think not allowing you to have old Soviet weapons because you are a rifleman for a NATO force is understandable.

if your playing as INSURGENT then yes, you cannot spawn weapons. They will, however, be on the ground at main and on caches. (rpg's, pkm's, snipers, svd's, and arty ied kits)

If your playing as Militia or Taliban, you can spawn kits as they are a more militant faction as apposed to the insurgents, who are not.
