ask someone to give you their init.con file in the mods\bf2 folder, replace yours and see if that fixes it.

It's the init.con in C:\\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\init.con

it might, it might not. There'll be no harm in trying (except maybe lost time)

i had the above mentioned problem once or twice, but the solution posted in here fixed it for me

i take it PB is all fully updated etc.

Repatching BF2 would fix this most probably, reinstalling PR wouldn't since it's a mods/bf2 file, not a mods/pr file ;p...

But because i'm nice...

Pb kept kicking me out for the same init.con

My solution to the problem was simple.

1.uninstalled Pb

2.Created new folder and copied Pr.exe shortcut into the folder

3.Installed Pb. Instead of choosing the bf2 installation folder i chose the new folder i had created with the pr.exe shortcut.

After rhis ive been able to play without interruptions.
Hope this helps.

Problem started again after booting comp.

Solved this problem by installing everything again firewall+ antivirus software disabled.
And everything works fine now.
