prone-to-crouch/standing accuracy

scenario:

see a guy running 120m away.
i settle and fire at him. miss.
he goes prone behind an obstacle.
he then sits/stands up, looks at me, has perfect accuracy and hits me.

Uh... hardcoded? If there was a way to fix that, it'd have been long done :)

i'm pretty sure the devs said they added an accuracy reset after bf2 patch 1.5 was releases. where did that go? i always alt+f4 when i get killed in bs scenarios like this.

Would love to see a deviation penalty for changing of a any stance.

Locking this due to the "ragequit" nature of the post.


The BF2 1.5 patch introduced crouch/standing -> prone deviation which in PR is greatly increased over vanilla, however there is no mechanism to alter deviation when going prone -> crouch/standing.

This has come up a lot in the past so please search in future.
