Server crashed when loading map, and crashed just now when we were on Kashan Desert. Still very optimistic though :D

Nugiman wrote:Would it be possible that the nametags can selectively be switched on "visible" and "invisible" via ALT, just like you can select to have attack markers visible and squadnumbers?

that would be awesome, then you can quickly switch to visible if you want to talk to somebody or to read an idiots name who is teamattacking, but make it invisible when you don't need!
Good idea! I don't know how hard it would be to bind it to the L+ALT like the waypoint marker. Coding php and html makes my eyes cross, i couldn't imagine asking them to take a look at it... :p

Any new crash could help us to fix all issues when increase variables greater than engine could handle. The test is an important part in development. People joining this server please remember - this is test server, crashes possible and that is normal.

64 Players :

Logi = Taxi

Hmmw = Taxi , then abandoned

Chopper cas = Flying

Chopper Trans : no comment ...

Apc/Tank = KILLING MACHINE !

128 Players :

Logi = Precious truck , only use for droping crate and go back immediately to the main

Hmmw = Precious vehicule , use for trans and support

Chopper cas = they are all scared to fly with it lol

Chopper Trans = Since today the bh its a transport ..

Apc = Finally the Apc do their job !

And...

That's what we got by defending Lima. Lots of INF kills + 3 or 4 APCs. Very fun, even though server was around or below 64.

That pic is just a few seconds before server crashed :(
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

Fearosius wrote:128 people seems a little too much for PR. I mean, that would equal 64 players per team, and BF2 can only support 9 squads with 6 people on each squad. (9x6=54), and thats if every squad is filled with 6 people. This would leave 10 people squadless. Also, can you imagine Fallujah with 128 people on a 1km map, it would be fun, but probably hectic at the same time. I could settle for maybe a 90 slot server, with 45 people per team, I think that seems reasonable given the map sizes for PR and vehicles available on the maps.
9x8 = 72

The squad size limit is 8.

But hey, I find 128 players battles to be pretty epic and fun. Yet to try Fallujah (or any insurgency), but hey! Gotta be awesome. Lots of Insurgents to defend, several BLUFOR to surround the area...

I was commanding one of the infantry squads and a bunch of the APCs in that battle over lima. I hate you guys. Your Anti-Tank was insane.

Finally got on today. I love it!

I'd like to thank the server admin for spending so much time as admin, it was a herculean job, and they did quite well. The server was admined well, and the rules were straightforward.

I love the thought of 128 players becoming the norm. Good work Devs.

Hahaha, yeah! That dude was great (=HOG= NaturalBornTarget), had to recommend him on the Player Recommendations thread... he was crazy man!

Was that your squad which (somehow) sneaked into my squad's position and then wiped us out? (And, sometime later, felt the taste of my tasty Mercedes-Benz on a desperate rush?) GJ dude! Thanks for the great firefight! (Where was your FOB, btw?)

Sqd 2? The one one like, halfway between Lima and November?

Information in the hands of a critical thinker is invaluable, information alone is simply dangerous.
