loads maps very very slowly

I have searched the forum for this and havent been able to find it so here we go. Whenever I try to load a map (offline or on) it takes about 30 minutes to get to 1%. just to be safe i have all the settings on lowest possible. Any ideas?

What are your PC specs?

I had this problem (although it never took that long to join a game) mine took about 10 - 15 minutes to load a game.

It is your CPU.

I had a Dual Core processor and i just upgraded to a new Quad Core and i load games with in 3 - 5 minutes now although i still cant fix my problem where my pc just locks up after about 40mins of gameplay

Posting your system Specs. would be helpful darklyt. Are you familiar with how to clear your cache? If so do that.

ok i dont know what happend but it works now. i tried re-installing it and it fixed it. thanks though
