Do not get a HDTV/monitor like I did, all VGA drivers have issues with scaling and cropping images, HDCP is pain, the Nvidia forums have many posts about it.

The Samsung Syncmaster series seem very popular, watch the speaker power if you're not always going to use headphones 3W X 2 just isn't enough, mine is 7W X 2 and it's just OK.

Ive had no problems with my Samsung Monitor  so not sure what PLODDITHANLEY is going on about.

23" Samsung P2370 - Click to see.
Or
24" Samsung P2450H - Click to see.

I have the 24" Samsung, Really nice monitor just the right size for my desk/room.
Most importantly the picture quality is amazing and games look impressive on it.

Might be able to find cheaper prices of both the samsung monitors on www.amazon.co.uk

Mad-Mike,

On the Nvidia forums there are loads of people having problmes with TVMonitors when plugged into HDMI, cropped images, audio issues, over/undersaturation. I am one.

This only Happens with combined HDTV Monitors not with Monitors. Work rounds involve editing EDID settins of the monitor.

Just advising away from combined HDTV/monitors.

Yours is a monitor only not a combined unit and yes Samsung are good as reminded above.

Hope thats clearer. The speakers remark is general IMHO 3W X 2 is not enough, if you use headphones all time ofc no problem.
