I believe as well it should work. The registry entries should be there if you installed it on the slave drive while it was connected to the same computer.

Did you wipe the slave drive then install PR on it?
It sounds like you got a new hdd and formatted Win7 to it, then slaved the old hdd with the orig windows install..
I don't think it is going to work that way for a few reasons. The PR installation is all set to the dependant files on the old hdd. with WIN7 running none of the other OS files are processing.
PR needs to be set to run as admin along with punkbuster...
Maybe wipe the drive and reinstall on there, but I do not think it is going to work still.

Best line yet...

You'll be fine if you boot from the slave drive, but you need to have ran through the install process previously to add the registry entry to the current OS. Unless you know how to add all the manual BF2/EA/PR reg entries, there's no point, and I won't cover them as it will create more threads than assist.
Simple answer is to reinstall and patch (to the slave drive if you wish) and copy your previous profile files over from within your My docs/Users folder. If your slave drive is a USB, bare in mind that the bus speed will be slower and will affect game performance. That doesn't sound like the case though.
