My clan and I wish to host a private server with a long password for our own use in either clan scrims and training sessions only. However, without a server license or the files, there's no real way to do this. We've got our own dedicated box on our hands with PR BF2 on it but currently we have no way of actually running a server with the administrator commands we would like to use. Is there any way to get this server up-running without applying for a license as long as we have it up for private use. We want things like PR-bots, setnext, playnext, etc.

You can use Hamachi to emulate a local area connection over long distances. You just copy the IP of the host and put it in the IP to join a local server. I'm not sure of the availability of commands, but I do know that PR bot and spawning vehicles works.
