Ah! Helicopter banks hard right every time I take off now...

Post by Deathtrap »

I tried the joystick deal and I noticed everytime I took off (after letting it warm up for a minute or two or even more) not even 5 feet off the ground my helicopter immediately banked hard and to the right causing me to crash.

Unplugged the joystick, went back to using a mouse reset all my keys and all for it being a mouse and...its still doing it!

I have changed my settings etc, I have triple checked to make sure nothing else is plugged in. PLEASE HELP!!!!! Not sure what its doing to jets since I don't really play levels with the jets.

I'm messing around on a created server testing everything with no luck.

probably causes -

You have a joystick throttle that you're accidentally leaving on 100%?

You need to calibrate your joystick

Unplugged the joystick though and still doing it. I had to reset everything, but I am wondering what in the world could of caused it. The reset fixed it...

hi

had a similar problem before. the solution was that the joystick driver kept the same action up when the joystick was last plugged in, in your case a hard right turn.
solution:
reboot.
if that doesnt work, kill the joystick driver.
if that doesnt work, uninstall the joystick driver.
if that doesnt work, then im out of ideas ;)

Just changing the game settings to ignore the joystick would be enough :p

the difference is that works for every game in any possible situation, cause some retarded games have an integrated joystick/gamepad support but no possibility to turn it off -.-

Same problem with u. It only happens to the USA B2? chopper(Vietnam use?). But it works fine in any other heavy trans chopper like chinook and Blackhawk. Littlebird is fine too. Strange!

Make sure you dont have any secondary controls set. I used to have that problem with jets, when I got taxiing to work on my joystick id start veering to the right or left when taking off for some reason because i had the keyboard as secondary as back up and even though wasnt pressing the keys still happened.

check if you have plugged in any other USB controller, then remove that.
