Banned from all servers

Post by JSteger »

I finally got to reinstalling PR but i am receiving the following messages when i try to join a server.

You have been banned from the server by server admin or from excessive teamkilling.
(Tactical Gamer server) 56/64 players

You have been disconnected by PUNKBUSTER.
You have been banned from this server by Server admin.
(]HOG[ Server) 60/64 players

I receive the bottom error usually.
I am absolutely 100% sure i have never hacked or intentionally killed anyone on any server.

The only thing i can think of is that when i reinstalled bf2 i couldn't find my cd key so i just found one online and used it and started getting these messages.

However i later found my own cd key on the registry of my old computer and i am still getting these messages.

...Help

Try editing your own CD key back into the registry with x9392 in front of it. Then use a different BF2 account.

If that doesn't help, reinstall from scratch and use your own license key.

well this is a fresh install.
i just tryed a different account but nothing different.

As for re entering my cd key i only have an encrypted version of my original CD key.

Does anyone know how to convert back to normal / decrypt it?

PS Since 1.4 all cd keys are encrypted in the registry.

Is there server different in any way to the others?
