[0957] chinese pistol
The chinese pistol iron sights are off. They are not centered to the screen, the gun is about a 1cm down and 2mm to the left. While the gun seems to fire from the iron sights it actually does not, the bullet fires to the right by about 2mm or more. Which at range becomes an issue.

Why are you using your pistol at range?
In all seriousness I've noticed this too.

It's the same gun as the vBF2 Chinese pistol, which had the same problem.

Re: [0957] chinese pistol
So if you're a sniper and you have to kill someone from long range, you take out your pistol? I guess that makes sense, but wasn't there another gun specific to snipers more suited for that task?Conman51 wrote:Because its the only gun snipers have.

Now this is just sad on DICE's part. They got so lazy that they couldn't even make their guns shoot straight? That's below pathetic, I can't think of a word to describe that...

Its a PR developed model, meaning DICE hasn't done anything at all. This is just a developer mistake which can be easily rectified.

Re: [0957] chinese pistol
was doing a pistol match on the matrox fun server and i was chinese so thats why i was using it at range
Also remember that its the gun that pilots and officers have, so its not just important to snipers.

The model is actually BF2's QSZ-92-9, which has been retextured. I can remember it's sights being off in BF2. I don't know if the sight-in animation was changed for PR but if not it could still have the same problem as in BF2.dtacs wrote:Its a PR developed model, meaning DICE hasn't done anything at all. Didn't someone remake the magazine? I swear that there was some sort of Chinese pistol model being developed, Chuc posted it as a reference in samogon's Makarov thread.

lol that was the fellow who answered your previous comment, if I'm correct the new chinese pistol model (not just a reworked magazine!) will be in the next patch (it was finished just a little too late for the last one).dtacs wrote:Didn't someone remake the magazine? I think Adriaan, who earned his R-Con tag with this project, can inform us all more on this subject

Well there you go, this bug is irrelevant if the new pistol will be introduced.
