BF2 Patch 1.5 wont open

I have just reinstalled Windows 7 64-bit and now i am having trouble with bf2 1.5 patch.
I installed the 1.41 patch just fine but when i double click on the 1.5 patch something starts to load and the suddenly nothing happens. Ive downloaded it about 4 times all from different sites and it just still doesnt open.

Ive tries running it in administrator mode and also compatability mode but its just not working.

Any ideas?

Hey Swatuk. Have you tried downloading the patch from fileplanet?
That's where I downloaded it, and it worked perfect for me.

Yes i have mate, im just downloading it again from another site.. Il keep you updated if it works

Be advised that the file does take some time to open for everyone. It takes me like a couple of minutes before it shows.

Finally got it to work! After downloading it from 4 different times it finally opened
