Project reality Survival

While watching one of those shows about people who find them selves in a survival situation and need to adapt to the envoronment to survive one part got me thinking about . . what if there was some sort of Project reality survival night.

Each squad is given a specific task to survive or search and rescue on a specific map.
the survivors / cast aways can only use what is given to them to make it to certian spots in the map and gather certian objects / Kits.

An idea that would help make it more realistic could be . . in the Map constant damage is inflicted to each player to simulate Thurst and every 10 minutes or so you would need to find a Hydration station / Medic pack shaped like a bottle of water or puddle of water. Other aspects could be thought up im sure.

. . OR basicaly on one of the new upcoming Jungle maps have a Hunter Vs Hunted game.

They prey needs to work togeather to Trap/Stone/Kill by beating up the Hunters
Who have un reliable Single shot Non scoped weapons a Knife / machette and ofcourse cantines. If its possible to increase the rate of damage for people who run this could become more realistic.

This isnt as much of a Suggestion as it would be a Discussion about how a Modifiation like this could be setup. And if anyone would even be interested in participating in playing.
Give some insight on how to improve this idea.

Better if they're given also one try at it, like if they get dead dead, its over for the player.

This sounds so fun!

But I suppose it is much easier to do that in ARMA 2. I wouldn't be surprised if there was something like this already (take ARMA2 Undead Mod, for example). I don't think the "environmental issues" such as thirst would be codable in BF2 (in ARMA2, I'm sure it can).

Interesting idea, although it may be better to have it more like trying to flee and hide from the enemy perusing you, while also trying to be found by friendly forces but I don't think PRs maps are really large enough to do this really well and only real place you could do it is in a special community event that I could see (on the BF2 engine that is).

Ye, with ARMA2's larger maps and scripted missions it would be easier to pull off with a better result too I would imagine :)

Well, Redamare, this really being a suggestion, the Suggestions Forum might be a better place for this? ;)

Moving it instead of locking it, as it's not a resuggestion (AFAIK).

thanks KP . . Arma 2 didnt even cross my mind that is true its probly mor likley to work with Armas engine than BF2. Yea a Search and rescue operation mod could be a third alternative to bring the idea back to the "military" aspect of the mod.
