In this case then a new GPU or OCing yours will not improve your framerate. Apologies for misleading information. :(
Please do test for a memory leak because there seems to be an epidemic going on!

Setup: [email protected], 8 GB DDR3 1333, Win7 64, Nvidia 266.58, GTX470

A [email protected] with ati 5850 ddr3 and 4 gig ram on win7 64 get around 35 frames too.

I doubt that your roomate get better frames with the equal system. please post.

lol gamebooster . not neccesary under vista, only advertisement stuff. nerver install this.

@psyrus:looks nice, you dont experience problems ingame with this system?

Nope, not really... I guess I'm just really lucky :) Pretty much can't manage to get it below 30fps no matter how high I push the settings or which map I'm on.

On that picture though, I've noticed that my FPS go from 280 to 150 when I look North -> West, and there's only 2-3 statics in that transition so I wanna look them up in the editor to see if there's something that's got a crazy poly count

When I play on my low end system (Win7) I always use this. I used to not be able to play PR with reasonable FPS but then I installed Gamebooster and I could even turn up a couple settings. Since the latest patch I have to use low on all but geometry (for Stryker bug) view distance and resolution. But without Gamebooster I'm sure I wouldn't even be able to play at all.

Get more performance out of your PC by disabling unneeded services, go to Black Viper's site.

Windows 7 Services and Features configuration.
Black Viper's Windows Vista Service Pack 2 Service Configurations
Long time PR player.
